These people work so hard to take care of the throwaway cats in Lake and porter county they can always can use help and donations Stop in and see them sometime They have beautiful adoptable cats

I started volunteer in here and am very impressed. There is no odor in the shelter and the cats seem to be well cared for.

Amazing place to adopt an amazing cat! I adopted from them because of how well they take care of the cats. They said volunteer positions available too!

We adopted our first cat from here. It was a different but nice experience for me. Growing up we always had cats, but they were mostly strays that we would take in. So, I had a good experience at this shelter. But seeing all those cats there made me wish I could take them all home. The people there are great. I like how they let you be alone with your prospective pet to see if he/she will be right for your family.

Contacted Adoption about certain kitten I wanted and had been told to fill out an application. I filled out all my information online and emailed it to them. I had many messages back and forth with them about the kitten and was excited to meet her. I told them I was going to the Saturday adoption event and they said even though you filled out an application we need to do an interview with our counselors and the kitten can't be taken home that same day. (Even though I submitted my application a week ago & They are only open Wednesdays during the week) I got there ready to meet my new fur baby and they said she was adopted that morning with another kitten together. I couldn't believe that they wouldn't at least tell me and to just keep feeding me lies and wasting my gas and time of 30 min travel to get her. It wasn't as professional as I thought it was from the emails and they lady kept saying that she wanted to keep the kitten I ended up looking at because my first choice was gone before I could even meet her. Ended up leaving and adopted the best kitten ever from Hobart Humane Society which was 100% better and cooler atmosphere for the animals
